Welcome to Crossett Brook Health Office

Events & Workshops

My name is Marilyn Geiger and I feel very privileged and excited to be in the Crossett Brook Middle School Community!

I enjoy working toward building a collaborative relationship with our families and community as my second year as a school nurse.  My career as a nurse started 25 years ago in a New Jersey Neonatal Intensive Care where I cared for premature and critically ill infants for 8 years until I was recruited to our newly expanded children's emergency department.  Once the department was well established,  I took several years off to care for my own two boys and returned to work in the Pediatric Burn ICU in New York Presbyterian.

Although we enjoyed the wealth of opportunities the city offered, my boys and I decided the mountains in Vermont where we spent our weekends felt more like home... and every day we spend among our neighbors and friends confirms we made a great decision.

Like many Vermont folks our family loves all the outdoors has to offer.  We were fortunate to have the opportunity to have spent several summers in National Parks as volunteers and always came away with a renewed sense wonderment and appreciation for the diversity of life around us.  Our latest adventure was a canoe camping trip up the Allagash River in Maine.... we were fortunate that our dog Braveheart seemed to like it too, because our canoe didn't tip into the drink!

I am greatly enjoying  getting to know your children as well as the school community as a whole!

Please drop by anytime to say hello or with any information or suggestions you'd like to share with me.... the door is always open.
